What is radKIDS?
radKIDS is the national leader in children's safety. radKIDS is brought to children and parents by the training and development of nationally certified instructors drawn from their own communities. By empowering a community with certified local instructors, the radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education package is not just a program but also a true gift to the community.

Since it's inception in 1998, radKIDS, Inc. has been committed to providing education that enhances the ability of children and parents to utilize knowledge, skills, and power to protect themselves from violence and harm.

Program Information
The radKIDS Personal Empowerment Safety Education Program is a 10-hour family centered safety education program that emphasizes essential decision-making skills as well as physical resistance options to escape violence. Children from 5-12 years of age participate in the program with their adult partners to create a true safety partnership. Click here to register your child for a radKIDS class. Class dates to be determined once there are 20 kids signed up for a class.

radKIDS Curriculum topics include:

  • Home, School and Vehicle Safety
  • Out and About Safety
  • Realistic Defense Against Abduction
  • Good-Bad-Uncomfortable Touch and more
  • Stranger Tricks (including Physical Defense agianst Abduction)
  • Self-Realization of Personal Power.

Instructor Training Program
The radKIDS® Instructor Program is a three-day certification course, September 16 - 18, 2009, detailing our core curriculum. Candidates will receive information on teaching children about school safety, home safety, out-and-about safety, vehicle safety, strangers and tricks (including physical defense skills), and personal safety (including good, bad, and uncomfortable touch).
