GENERAL INFORMATION & HOUSE POLICY

 
As the exclusive catering service for the Columbus, Georgia Convention & Trade Center, the Aramark Corporation is committed to the highest standards of quality and service.  The following information regarding the catering policies will assist you in planning your next event.  If you have any questions regarding these policies, please do not hesitate to call for assistance.
 
MENU SELECTION
Our menu package features our most popular items, while these are menu suggestions, we are quite flexible and would be happy to plan alternative menus to suit your particular requirements.
 
GUARANTEES
To properly co-ordinate your event, it is necessary that we receive your "final guarantee" of confirmed attendance for each meal function by 12:00 (Noon) three (3) business days prior to the event.  (Weekends & Holidays are not included).  After that date, your guarantee is not subject to reduction.  If  we do not receive a confirmed guarantee as above, the "expected" attendance specified in the contract will be considered as your guarantee.  We shall be prepared to serve and set 5% over your final guarantee, not to exceed 30 meals.  You (customer) will be billed based on the final guarantee or the actual number of meals served, whichever is greater.
 
PAYMENT
Our company policy requires a deposit of 50% of the estimated total bill at the time the agreement is signed or 30 days prior to the event.  Full payment shall be made by the day of the function, unless credit has been established to the satisfaction of Aramark Corporation.  In the event credit has been established, the balance of the account is due and payable fifteen (15) days after receiving the invoice.
 
SERVICES
Our standard banquet service is planned for round tables of eight (8) persons.  Other service options are available and should be discussed at the time of ordering or contract.  Tablecloths are included with all meal functions and tables are provided by the Trade Center through the Event Coordinators.  Tables requested for non-food functions are not clothed and will be subject to additional charges if we are requested to cloth or skirt.  Please coordinate your needs with the Event Coordinator prior to the day of the event.
 
DECORATIONS
Centerpieces are available at a nominal charge and will be charged back to customer should the guests remove from tables.
 
SAMPLING POLICY (Exhibitors and Trade Show Vendors)
Sales of any food or beverage products are not allowed in the building, however, complimentary samples may be distributed by exhibitors from their Trade Show booths.  Sample sizes must be limited to 3 ounces of beverage product and 3 ounces of food product.  Please have sampling items approved in advance by Aramark Corporation.
 
LOST & FOUND
Aramark Corporation
does not accept any responsibility or liability for the damage or loss of any merchandise or article left in the facility prior to, during, or following your function.
 
EVENT TIME LIMITS
Functions that extend beyond the previously determined times of 1.5 (one and one half) hours for a breakfast or a lunch, and 2.5 (two and one half) hours for dinner, will be subject to overtime rate charges at a rate set forth and determined by Aramark Corporation.
 
COMPLAINTS OR DISPUTES
All complaints or disputes concerning services performed under the terms of this agreement must be made in writing by the person whose signature is on the agreement within seven (7) days following the function.  Failure to notify Aramark Corporation shall constitute a waiver of all such disputes, complaints or objections.
