Judge Maureen Gottfried

Judge Maureen Gottfried was born  in Washington, DC. and grew up in Atlanta, Ga.

She received a BA in English from Trinity College in 1983, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia in 1986.

She was Chief Assistant Solicitor 1986-1993, became solicitor 1993-1995, and has been a state court judge since 1996.

Judge Gottfried is a Presidential Scholarship recipient, winner of the prestigious Justice Benham Public Service Award and a past president of the Columbus Bar Association.
