Construction is complete on the Riverwalk segment between 12th to 13th Streets. The design stage for the segment between 13th and 14th Streets has been completed. Expansion of this segment is going to be postponed until further notice due to the construction of the River Restoration Project.
This expansion will ensure a more continuous way for people who want to go to Fort Benning from Lake Oliver Marina. Once these two segments have been constructed, there only will be two remaining sections of the Riverwalk to be completed: the City Mills site and the Bibb Mill site.
