There are currently eight redevelopment areas in Columbus that have been identified in the 2028 Comprehensive Plan. The areas are as follows:
Planning staff has completed the analysis of three of those areas that include: 5th and 6th Avenue, Medical Center and Baker Village.
The Planning Department along with the Department of Community Reinvestment are currently assessing the remaining five areas. Staff is working diligently to compile up-to-date land use of the redevelopment areas and studying the latest census data to determine where the boundaries of these areas should be.
