29th Street Recreation Center was updated with funding from the 1993 S.P.L.O.S.T. Sales Tax  

This multi-purpose facility offers an array of structured activities for youth and young adults.  Park amenities include the recreation center, baseball and softball fields, and playgrounds.

Activities held at the center:
The Recreation Center is comprised of a gymnasium, weight room, childrens' activity room, full size kitchen, and game room.
