TENNIS

One of the top clay court tennis facilities in the country, Cooper Creek is located at 4816 Milgen Road.  The thirty lighted courts make Cooper Creek the largest soft-court public tennis facility in the United States.  The Columbus Regional Tennis Association (CORTA) has its offices at Cooper Creek, and it is the second biggest USTA organization in the South.

SCHEDULE
Cooper Creek Tennis Center operates during different hours seasonally. Summer hours are from April 2nd - September 30th. Winter hours are from October 1st - April 1st.

tennis COURT SWEEPING PROCEDURES
  • Players must drag and line courts at the conclusion of play
  • Players should return the drag broom and liner back to the designated areas. There are hooks placed on the fence for the sole purpose of keeping the equipment off the ground and in good condition.
  • Drag the court in a zig-zag pattern, except during matches, when you sweep the alley first during a side change to minimize distractions.
FEES
All players, including members, Instructors, and league players MUST sign-in and pay all required fees BEFORE playing.

Hourly fees are charged to all non-members throughout the year. It may be hard to find court time on Tuesday and Thursday nights because of league play.

DAILY COURT FEES
  Day 8:00am - 6:00pm Night 6:00pm - Close
Adult $2.50 per hour $3.00 per hour
Junior/Senior $1.50 per hour $2.00 per hour

TEAM PRACTICE FEES
Offered during league seasons held throughout the year. $4.00/person (non-members) court fee per each team member for each practice.

LEAGUE MATCHES
Offered during league seasons held throughout the year. $4.00/person (non-members) court fee per each team member for each match.

HIGH SCHOOL
Matches are held during the spring season for approximately 10 weeks. Each high school pays $150 for their team matches. Each high school pays $1.00 per person (non-members) for each of their team practices.

TOURNAMENTS
Fees vary due to the size and length of tournament.

Offered daily throughout the year.  Membership fees offer the opportunity to play without paying hourly court fees.
