Holiday Service Schedule

The Columbus Consolidated Government will alter or suspend all services on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday Nov. 25, 2011. This is with the exception of emergency services such as fire, police, and ambulance.

Below is the garbage collection schedule for the week of November 20, 2011. Normal garbage and recycling pickup will resume on Monday, November 28, 2011.

Other altered or suspended services:

• Metra bus service will be suspended Thursday Nov.24, 2011. Saturday's Schedule will be operational for Friday and Saturday.
• Landfills:
  • Granite Bluff: Will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, but will be open Saturday Nov. 26, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Pine Grove: Will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, but will be open Saturday Nov. 26, 2011 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • Oxbow Meadows: Will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, but will be open Saturday, Nov. 27, 2011 for normal hours of operation.
• Animal Control will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24-25, 2011.
• Recorder's Court: To Be Announced.

All regular services and normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011.
