Holiday Service Schedule

The Columbus Consolidated Government will alter or suspend all services on Monday, January 16, 2012. This is with the exception of emergency services such as fire, police, and ambulance.

Below is the garbage collection schedule for the week of January 15, 2012. Normal garbage and recycling pickup will resume on Thursday, January 19, 2012.

Other altered or suspended services:

• Metra bus service will be suspended.
• Landfills:
  • Granite Bluff: Will be open Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2012.
  • Pine Grove: Will be open Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2012.
  • Oxbow Meadows: Will be closed Saturday, January 14 and Monday, January 16, 2012.
• Animal Control will open on Saturday, January 14 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but will be closed Monday, January 16.
• Recorder's Court: 8:00am Session Only. Normal service will resume on Tuesday.

All regular services and normal hours of operation will resume on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, with the exception of garbage collection. Normal garbage collection will resume on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
