Registration Qualifications:

Be a citizen of the United States

Be a legal resident of Muscogee County

Be at least 17 1/2 to register and 18 to vote

Not be serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude

Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge

Form of identification (if you are registering for the first time in Georgia). Below are the six forms of ID accepted by the State of Georgia.

1. Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID
2. A Georgia Driver's License, even if expired
3. Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
4. Valid U.S. passport ID
5. Valid U.S. military photo ID
6. Valid tribal photo ID

Voter Address / Name Change

If you have moved within Muscogee County, complete the form on the back of your Voter Registration Precinct Card and mail to the Voter Registration Office, P.O. Box 1340, Columbus, GA 31902-1340.

Note: Change of address must be submitted at least 30 days preceding any election.

If you have moved to Muscogee County from a different county or state, or there has been a change to your legal name, you must complete a new voter registration application in order to remain qualified to vote.
