Youth Advisory Council's Administration...
The YAC shall operate administratively under the direction of the Youth Involvement Committee (representatives from the City Council and School Board). However, the YAC will elect its own officers, establish its own sub committees, plan its own program year, develop its budget, and write its own by-laws.

YAC Member Eligibility:
- Middle school through high school
- Students attending private and home school are also eligible to serve
- Number of youth to be selected to the YAC - 84
- Number of representatives per school is based on school population as follows:

Application/Application Process...
- Each youth must complete an application
- An application can be picked up at the middle or high school that the student attends, the City Manager's Office or click here.
- Return applications to the City Manager's Office postmarked no later than April 15, 2008.
- YAC Officers and Advisors will review the applications. Those selected for interviews will be notified by Monday, May 12, 2008.
