The Columbus, Georgia Convention and Trade Center is located in the Historic Columbus Iron Works.  Painstakingly restored to its Civil War splendor, the Iron Works is a unique setting for your next meeting or conference.  Situated on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the Trade Center is a local landmark of the downtown area and is located conveniently to first-class sleeping accommodations, restaurants and entertainment facilities.

After providing the convention and meeting needs of the community for twenty-five years, the building underwent a major renovation and expansion which was completed in 2004. The facility has over 200,000 square feet of floor space. There are three exhibit halls on the ground level that can be used individually or combined. There is also a 22,000 square foot Columbus Iron Works Ballroom, the Dining Gallery, The Foundry, and the Sycamore Room, each with its own unique charm. All spaces provide the most modern lighting and audio-visual systems. Loading dock facilities allow an easy entrance to the exhibit halls for booth setups. Ramps and elevators also make the Trade Center accessible to persons with disabilities. Sheltered access is provided to both levels of the facility from a 426 car, multilevel garage. Ground level parking lots are also located around the complex perimeter.
 
The Trade Center also has partnered with an exclusive catering company nationally renowned for furnishing exquisite food and beverage services.  You can choose from a variety of predetermined menus or you may create a menu to complement your specific event.
