No one shall be inside the pool fence during non-operational hours, except for pool staff.
Everyone entering the pool during Public Swim hours, whether you are swimming or not, must pay the daily or seasonal fee.
there are no refunds for any reason in regards to pool entry fees.
Columbus Parks and Recreation has the right to refuse admittance to anyone for the safety of the patrons/staff at the facility.
Columbus Parks and Recreation reserves the right to inspect all belongings coming in and going from the pool.
All toys and floats must be inspected and approved by the pool manager before entering the pool area.
Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult/youth 16 years of age or older at a ratio of 3 children to 1 adult/youth over 16.
All children must be strictly supervised at all times. Staff members are not baby-sitters.
Proper swim attire must be worn (no denim, no khaki, no underwear) and must be worn properly. Anyone wearing inappropriate swimming attire will be asked to leave immediately.
Children under the age of 3 must wear a swim diaper in the pool. These diapers are sold at the concession stand.
No caps or hats are allowed in the pool.
No one shall talk, hang around, associate, touch or do anything to distract the pool staff while on deck duty, except in situations of emergency or public information.
No patrons are allowed on the lifeguard stand at any time for any reason.
A 3 whittle blast by any lifeguard means to clear the pool immediately.
No profanity or foul language is to be used at any time.
No horseplay (running, pushing, shoving, dunking, etc).
Diving is only allowed in areas when there is not a "No Diving" sign posted. No flipping is allowed at any time.
Nothing should be brought into the pool that does not belong, including bicycles, pets, glass, weapons, etc.
All city properties are drug and alcohol free zones.
All smoking must be done in designated smoking areas.
No coolers or outside food/drinks are allowed in the pool area as concessions are provided.
There will be a 10 minute break every hour.
The following criminal offenses will result in prosecution:
Breaking and Entering
Battery and assault
Theft by taking
All patrons are subject to be banned from the pool for any reason and any length of time.
All Pool Rules are regulated by the judgement of the Pool Manager for pool capacity.
