What sustained me to not give up:
(1) Having a God fearing mother that instilled Christian values and letting me know that God has hands on me.
(2) Having a personal relationship with God as I had with my on parents. I always have talked to God as if He was standing next to me. (3) Not letting anyone define my future or me.

What makes me strive to give back: Recognizing that God loves a cheerful giver as well as not forgetting about my past and struggles. If I can overcome, then others can too, but they must have mentorship to inspire leadership.
