CDBG-R Neighborhood Revitalization  Cusseta Road - Pedestrian Walkway Rehabilitation & Upgrade ($221,582) (Canceled)- Due to the scope of the work, the Cusseta Road Pedestrian Walkway is not financially feasible, the CDBG-R funds allocated to this project will be reallocated to a second Storm Drain Rehabilitation project. The rehabilitation work will be in the South Lawyers Lane Redevelopment Area.                                                                                                                                                     Storm Drain Rehabilitation II ($179,849) - The storm drain rehabilitation will consist of performing cured-in-place storm sewer repairs of 2,290 feet of storm sewer pipe.  This will repair the existing storm sewer pipes in place and will reduce the disturbance of the earth and extend the life of the pipes for 50 years.     Construction work is complete for this project. $179,849 Mark McCollum, Director Community Reinvestment mmccollum@columbusga.org (706) 225-3914

US Department of Energy, Propane Corridor Development Program Muscogee County Sheriff's Office This is a sub award through James Madison University to convert 20 Sheriff's vehicles to propane usage for air quality improvement.  The conversion kits are supplied and the funding is for the labor for installation of the kits.
