Program Details

If you are interested in participating in Walk Georgia, you may do so as an individual or form a team of up to four people. Keep track of the amount of time you exercise each week, and enter the time in the Walk Gerogia activity log on the Walk Georgia website. As you log minutes of physical activity, you will virtually travel across Georgia discovering interesting facts about each county you "visit" and learn new ways to improve your health.

At the end of the eight-week program, the top teams and individuals with the most miles traveled will win prizes.

If you have any questions, please call the UGA Cooperative Extension Office in Columbus, Georgia at (706) 653-4200.
